1. Operational Status Monitoring
Observe the fan's vibration and noise daily to ensure they are normal, without abnormal shaking or harsh noises.
Record the motor current, voltage, and bearing temperature. The temperature should generally not exceed 80℃ to avoid overload operation.
Check the outlet airflow and pressure for stability. If there is a significant drop, investigate the piping or impeller for problems.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regularly remove accumulated dust, oil, or debris from the impeller and casing to prevent impeller imbalance and vibration.
Clean the motor heat sink to ensure effective heat dissipation and prevent motor overheating.
Inspect the inlet filter and replace or clean it promptly to prevent foreign objects from entering the fan.
3. Lubrication Management
Regularly add appropriate lubricating oil (grease) to the bearings according to the fan model and operating conditions. Avoid mixing different types of grease.
4. Control the amount of lubricant: Too much or too little lubrication will cause the bearing to overheat. Generally, filling the bearing cavity to 1/2-2/3 full is ideal.
Regularly check the condition of the lubricating oil. If it becomes deteriorated, emulsified, or contains impurities, replace it immediately.
5. Tightening and Sealing Inspection: Regularly tighten foundation bolts, coupling bolts, impeller fixing bolts, etc., to prevent loosening that could cause vibration or component displacement.
Inspect the seals of the casing flange and bearing end covers. Replace any aged or damaged seals immediately to prevent oil or air leaks.
Check the belt tension of belt-driven fans. Too loose a belt will cause slippage, while too tight a belt will accelerate bearing wear. Adjust or replace aged belts promptly.
6. Safety Protection: Ensure the fan's protective cover is intact to prevent personnel from contacting rotating parts.
Check the reliability of the grounding device to avoid the risk of electric shock.
When shutting down for maintenance, disconnect the power supply and hang warning signs to prevent accidental restart.
